Engage the Youth in Breast Cancer Awareness Advocacy

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast cancer has drawn the attention of everyone around the globe due to intensity of nature. It affects 1 in 8 women and the number of victims will increase in the coming years. The need of time is to spread awareness among women of all ages whether young or old. Young generation being more energetic can take essential steps to advocate breast cancer awareness among masses.

The promotion of awareness will not prevent breast cancer, but it will help to decrease death rate by detecting cancer early when it is easily treatable. The youth can raise more funds to support breast cancer care centers and individuals who are not financially strong to bear the expenses of treatment.

Creativity is needed to attract people and young minds can create innovative ways to gather people for educating them about the importance of being aware. In this month many activities are planned to engage the youth in this fight. An awareness workshop is going to be held on 28th of October in the main campus of main auditorium Akoka at 12 p.m.

In this month super models who have been diagnosed with breast cancer have conducted an inspirational, emotional and uplifting show (The Breast Cancer Care Show) in London. This show was a great success as it has raised a huge amount to support breast cancer care centers. It has provided emotional and moral support to those who are going through this trauma as 24 top models were there to prove that breast cancer is not a death sentence.
