Important Information about Breast Cancer

A large number of tests are used to diagnose the cancer at initial stage and doctors try to determine that which tests are effective to treat the cancer successfully as it is not easy to treat the cancer successfully because it is a group of almost hundred diseases characterized by the uncontrolled growth of cells which form a lump or tumor that can be benign as well as malignant and the malignant tumor invades the other parts of the body while benign tumors don’t spread to the other parts of the body. Cancer is named after the type of cell where it begins such as

• The cancer that begins in the connective tissues such as fat, bone or muscles is called sarcomas.
• Leukemia is that types of cancers which begin in the blood forming tissues of the body such as spleen and bone marrow.

• Lymphoma is that type of cancer that begins in the lymphatic system of the body that is a network of glands and vessels to help the body for fighting infections.
• A cancer that begins in the skin or tissues that covers the internal body organs or glands is called carcinoma.

Breast cancer is also called carcinoma as it develops into the mammary gland or breast and is of different types because where it named after the part of breast where it develops like if it develops into the ducts it is called ductal carcinoma and if it develops into the lobes it is called lobular carcinoma and each type of cancer cause certain symptoms that are called breast cancer symptoms.
