In most of the cases women are diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer due to the late diagnosis of cancer and the reason is lack of awareness and in most of the developing countries women can’t go for regular screening of breasts as it is one of the expensive tests to catch cancer at initial stage in women without symptoms, however in the developed countries as in the UK it is offered to older women free of cost so that more and more women can be diagnosed with early stage breast cancer.
Possible Breast Cancer Symptoms
Following symptoms can be associated with breast cancer so if you notice any of them don’t ignore and consult your doctor immediately to know the root cause of these warning signs.
- If the breasts change in size it can happen due to breast cancer, however the change can be usual as well when it takes place in relation to the periods. Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Skin changes like dimpling and puckering can be related to breast cancer.
- Nipple changes like inverted nipples indicate the presence of cancer, although nothing can be said for sure before going through the essential tests but this symptom should not be ignored at all.
- Increased temperature of breasts is unusual.
- Lumps in the breasts and the armpits are abnormal, however the lumps can be benign and malignant so to ignore the lumps is not a right approach.
